Tulipwood String Quartet is an exciting new talent on the Australian classical music scene. All eminent professional musicians they have studied worked and travelled nationally and abroad extensively. Since meeting whilst working with The Queensland Orchestra, they have discovered a similar addiction to chamber music and what began as fun and indulgence to play the great string quartet literature with great friends has become a serious pursuit to bring the great masterworks to new audiences. Tulipwood string quartet has quickly established themselves as a fresh and dynamic group performing for Queensland Music Festival with Katie Noonan and Vince Jones, Chamber Music Queensland Concert Series, 4mbs classic fm radio concert series, Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival and The Queensland Orchestra chamber music concerts to great critical acclaim.

Pruning in the Vineyard
The recent cold snap has provided the perfect conditions for our vineyard staff to commence pruning…Verdelho and Shiraz blocks have been completed with only the Chardonnay and Cabernet to go.
This Winter the Chardonnay vines will be grafted over to Verdelho which grows so well at this site. This will double our tonnage and production of our signature wine over the next few years.
